This piece toggled art residencies of Akureyri and Stöðvarfjörður in October and November of 2022. The piece features an acrylic painting of a skyscape inspired by that which I saw in Akureyri, and a cyanotype layer with plants harvested in late October in Akureyri.
On the other side of the North of Iceland is Borðeyri, which is located by a peaceful fjord, and this house was inhabited by sheep and was used for storage, as it overlooks the fjord.
There is a screen printed layer of plants that were harvested in the East Fjords in the month of November.
The piece is 63cm high by 51cm wide, and is on acid free Stonehenge paper, and is unframed. It will be shipped in a tube.
