At the edge of the fjord known as Fossfjorður in the remote Westfjords of Iceland, sits this little house with no name to speak of, and no residents now except the occasional passing sheep.
The painted sunrise background was inspired by the sunrises that I witness through my art classroom window, and sunrise in the winter months arrives late and stays for a short time.
This piece is on cradled wood panel measuring 12 inches in diameter, and it combines acrylic painting and photo screen print.
